Is BiritKaraoke free?
Joining a room always is — no account, no install, no limit. Your first room is free; after that, one payment opens unlimited rooms forever. No subscription.
How do I start a session?
Tap "Open a room" and you get a six-character code. Anyone with the code — or the QR — joins instantly.
Are there ads?
On this site, yes — it runs somewhere that cannot download songs, so playback falls back to YouTube's own player. Sign the big screen into YouTube Premium and they go away. Run BiritKaraoke on your own machine and songs play from disk with no player to serve an ad at all.
Is anything stored?
Only the room code and its queue. Nothing is downloaded on this site, and rooms disappear when nobody is using them.
How do I find a song?
Tap "Add a song" and search by title or artist — we look for karaoke versions, not the original recordings. If you already have a specific link, the Paste link tab takes it.
What devices work?
Any modern browser. Put a TV, laptop, or tablet on the big screen and let everyone else follow along on their phone — every device plays the same video in sync.
Do I need to install anything?
Nothing. If you want the ad-free version, host it yourself with yt-dlp and ffmpeg installed — the app switches over on its own.
